an emotional anomaly

Do you get Deja Vu when I talk about you?

Do your ears burn? Your heart hurt?

Many of the greats have sang and sought to explain the emotional anomaly that is Deja Vu... comparing it to the pains of heartbreak & the ghosts that all live rent free in everything that reminds us of YOU. Who? Anyone whose impacted our psyche past the frontal lobe... deep into the Semantics, the logic, the invaded place where we begin to build a life that you fit into almost like its a matter of fact that you fell into me, meant to be.

Then deeper into the Procedural parts, you become a being we curate a world for by reflex the same way one remembers how to tie their shoes... crucial but not vital muscle memory, easy to go undetected.

All the while our Episodic mind is click click clicking snapshots of you and giving them to our memory with a shot of dopamine... infusing the image of you into something pleasurable not just memorable.

With all this commotion it's no wonder our Subconscious becomes disturbed... forced to process all this external info, creating conditions & conditioning us in our downtime, our slumbers, our dreams.

Curating Connections to all of our senses, so when you smell his cologne or hear her favorite song, or the weather is just the right combo of breezy yet beautiful... the lighting in a room hits in a way their favorite cafe was always lit up. Someone cheers you in a bar but they moved their arm in a way you recognize despite them being a total stranger-

-you get struck with the Deja Vu. This is deeper then a reminder. A set of circumstances unintentionally combined to bring you back in time just long enough to develop the 100 yard stare.

Your being forever altered in ways you never realized you were teaching yourself to retain.

So the question stands. Do you get Deja Vu when I talk about you? Does your world camoflauge and combine the exterior with the internal workings you have associated with me? My simple words creating a cosmic effect that reach into the depths of your psyche? Or does your world remain forever intact, your recollections filed deeply, compartmentalized by all the brains working parts... called upon in a controlled fashion to reflect.

Never disorderly through Deja Vu~
