Mark thee well, the face of the defeated. 

And forgive the wrongs that it brought. 

No place such as this, where hell has laid to rest. 

I was staying at a friend’s rural property for a few days and made the decision to go out at sunrise the next morning and head up the nearby mountain. It was the middle of winter and literally freezing, I didn’t have any gloves so when I wasn’t taking photos I had to stuff my hands deep in my pockets to stay warm. But the further and further I drove up the winding mountain road this incredible mist got thicker and thicker. There was no-one else around save a few kangaroos. It was incredibly cinematic.

Mark thee well, the face of the defeated.

And know not what becomest of the dawn.

Remember the night that it fell.

And forgive the wrongs that it brought.
