Declaration of Damnation
let them tremble, let them struggle

Let their ears ring
And gush ruby rivers,
With every whisper
From friends and family
Whose words will always abrade.
Let their voice tremble
And quiver and fracture
Each syllable a struggle
So instead they keep their words
Inside their head, may they mumble.
Let their stomach knot
And twist with confusion
The exclusion of their kind
In their mind it burrows
As the elephant begins to mock.
Let them know
What blood running cold
Does to a flowering bud.
Let me double this ache
Make them take and take and take.
