Death perceived so bright aglow

In your grasp your hold so tight

Round and round the wheel I go.

~~~
Stars aligned the sky so bold
Circling around me in florescent light
Death perceived so bright aglow.
~~~

Cascading dreams, strong hearts do hold

But death knows no height

Round and round the wheel I go.

~~~
Twilight spirals of golden lace untold
Integrating pain filled love in his site
Death perceived so bright aglow.
~~~

When the Reaper calls it's time to fold

Beauty fully surrounds his fright

Round and round the wheel I go.

~~~
Creation follows as new forms do mold
A cycle through which I find my might.
Death perceived so bright aglow
Round and round the wheel I go.
~~~

  • "Round and round the wheel I go". I don't know why but that line was so unsettling for me. Loved your Villanelle!
