Death of an Optimist

By Henry James 'Hank' Moody

By Hank MoodyPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

Enabled, struggling

for breath, and

in her avid

afterglow

is his lucid

death.

end with

blood

and within this

enraptured

feline

his afterlife

is now known

surreal poetry
