Death of a Girl

Sometimes pain is silent.

They told me it was all in my head.

That my mind was telling me i was better off dead.

I did not see what they could see.

They saw a girl who had it all.

I saw a girl about to fall.

Fall off the edge.

Fall deeper into her head of black and nothing.

Fall deeper into the depression my family claimed was not there.

But I did not care.

It seemed i could never dare.

For to be daring you need courage.

A quality I seemed to lack.

As I packed all my thoughts deeper.

One thing became clear.

I had to leave this place.

Of everything i held so dear.

I say goodbye silently.

For they will never know.

About the girl with the broken mind.

Who finally was at peace.
