Oh Morpheus, God of Dreams:
Why hast Thou forsaken me?
Sandman lay Grit in mine eyes--
&& Yet, I hath not slept..
(Immortal death I've kept.)
///
I've perpetually dreamt amongst
The Living and yet, hath not
Touched Thine lips for
Mine own slumber in weeks!
///
Waking, thrashing, heartbeat skipping.
Why hath Thou forsaken me?
Please take my wake away--
And cure my PTSD.
///
I may no longer count my black sheep.
Hold me and lay me to rest,
Dear Morpheus: my Sandman,
And my Dreams are Yours to keep.
