Death does not knock.
It does not ask your name,
your wealth, your power,
or the prayers you carry.
It simply comes.
Nobody...
but nobody,
can escape it in this world.
Kings return to dust.
The rich leave everything behind.
The poor leave nothing behind
but their silence.
Every breath we take
is borrowed from time,
and every heartbeat
moves us closer to the final quiet.
We build as though we will remain.
We love as though forever is promised.
We chase tomorrow
as though tomorrow belongs to us.
But death waits for no tomorrow.
It takes the strong,
the weak,
the loved,
the forgotten,
without favour,
without fear.
And when our last breath
finally leaves the body,
the world keeps turning.
Perhaps that is the deepest truth:
We are all passing through.
Nobody escapes death.
Nobody outruns it.
Nobody lives beyond it.
In this world,
death is the one destination
from which no one returns.
