Dearest Blue

Of all the blue boys

Dearest Blue

Dearest blue/

I no longer seek your eyes

only in a crowded room

your gaze no longer makes my heart

hiccup/ or palms sweat/ your voice

now is just a voice/ a nice one/ but I've

found a new song to listen to/ you no

longer turn me into a hungry/ greedy

Ursula/ Once, I found a goldmine in your

smile/ and your eyes danced when you

laughed/ and your voice was low/ and

sultry/ how dreamy this blue boy was to

me/ how sinful/ sugary sweet/ my oh my/

and to think/ I would have given you everything/

If you'd asked me.
