Dear Winter

Do you have to last so long

Winter could you just leave

With your cold chilly breeze

Spring should come

To take its turn to bring the blooms

Tired of the cold weather

Ready for the flowers bursting forth

With the birds that sing in the trees

The warmth comes again

If you would just let spring win

Your season is now over

Now let another one come in

The sun that shines

And wakes up the earth

To see new birth of life

Winter you are not welcome her

I enjoy writing for fun. I like to write for several genres including fantasy, poetry, and dystopian, but I am open to trying other genres too. It has been a source of stress relief from my busy life.
