Dear old self,

The person; who would you have become,

If not for those people; friends, lovers and fakes

Present time; much to be sorry for and then some.

Paid dearly; for the choices, blessings and mistakes

The edge gone; softened to adjust.

Heart on sleeves; hopeful for all.

No feelings, no care; no trust no more.

Sold so much, the value was cheap.

Loved so much, when the cut was deep.

Show kindness and love; to oneself

Do not ignore and do not shelf.

Sincerely,

Future you.
