Dear Moon

My Silver Healer

O gentle Moon in silver hue,

I am writing to you.

Here on Earth, our science weeps—

No cure for the pain that cancer keeps.

Stage four’s dark shadow grips so tight,

It steals the warmth, it dims the light.

But you, dear Moon, beyond our sky,

Hold secrets where the answers lie.

In craters deep and silent seas,

There must exist new remedies.

So beam your light through heaven’s veil,

Let healing ride your lunar trail.

Touch softly where the sickness grows,

Reverse the tide that sorrow knows.

If Earth’s own hands have failed to mend,

Let lunar magic kindly bend.

I plead, dear Moon, so pure, so near—

Cast out this dread, erase the fear.

Beam down a cure from realms above,

And fill my loved one’s heart with love.
