Dear Monster living under my bed,
I wish I could stop thinking about you, please get out of my head.
I don't know why you haunt me. Maybe you're bored or maybe you want to stomp me.
I've called my parents, the neighbors and even an exorcist to get rid of you. I'd run far away if I was in your shoes.
Night after night, you've been giving me a fright. Everyone's here now, it's time for a fight.
I'm leaving you this letter as a final peace offering. Leave now, or it will be time to start slaughtering.
I hate your scary shadow and your creepy hands slithering in my bed when I am sleeping. This causes me to wet my bed from peeing.
It's time for you to go now. We brought a bazooka to blow you away, you scary looking cow.
We're crawling under to get you. Our dog will help to fetch you.
Alone I was scared of you. Paired, the fight will be squared. You will be defeated. We will not be deleted.
You're nothing to me anymore you wimpy little monster. We will make you saunter away. Then I will go outside and play.

About Writing
Most people talk about things that bother them as a way to vent their emotions, another way is through writing. As I sit writing in my car, I ponder how much writing, in itself, has helped me become the person I am today. I have endless amounts of pages filled with poems, stories, and sometimes random blurbs. Writing is a window into your soul. The simple action of writing has benefited me; by helping me to achieve a better memory, helping me to learn and grow intellectually, and helping me to communicate my emotions.
