Dear Love I’m from the future

An Open-ended letter to ___

Dear Love I’m from the future

The future where a moment without your touch is a moment gasping air and panicked summers come true.

Would you believe me if I told you we kissed and with a single moment we became limitless.

What once was so deeply forbidden had become our home.

Now I sit, I wait for the shrieking ring to end with a soft hello, but no.

Your anger has become a slicing blade destroying all that we have built.

I can only desperately claw at the pieces and beg for the flame to not catch on our passion and engulf us whole.

Soon I will go & hope the hands that once touched me so soft will meet me with that same finesse but knowing god this is unlikely.

I will be met with knives and teeth instead.

For sin I not but bleed I will.

For you my love it is but worth it.

With the dream of softness I leap
