Dear Jane,

It’s been nearly a week, I hope you have had a productive and peaceful time. I have sent several poems and letters to you over the last several days, I hope you received them well in a timely fashion. You do not have to respond to all of them, I merely intend to write to you in any case to let you know I will always appreciate your friendship and keep you in my prayers and thoughts.

I am still mourning over my dog’s passing, as he was my true companion and there for me during silent tears and afternoon naps, quiet contemplation and my own enduring sadness.

I truly miss you everyday. Do you still miss me? I feel your energy in my heart, like a light that ignited long ago that you set ablaze, and I find myself truly longing to hear your voice again. My daughter is in mourning in the coming weeks. I am desolate and trying to distract myself with games and music and entertainment and writing. You’ll see the muse that you truly are brings out my inspiration the most in my last few letters, poems and stories, my dear Jane.

I hope you are well, and that you will be finishing your artistic ventures with gusto and pride. Prayers and love for you, my dear friend.

Love, Edward
