Dear Friend

Mother's Death

By Chez DPublished 9 years ago 1 min read

Dear friend

Call me anytime

just dial and you’ll find

love sent.

Me/you

grieving together

look toward forever

so blue

So sad

the day your mom died

didn’t hear you cry

too mad.

The day

she was laid to rest

Our hug was the best

I’d say.

Good son,

you were there for her

Let St. Christopher

now come.

Tonight

Wrap around your arms

and we’ll feel no harm

just light.

Alone

is often too much

I will be your crutch

your home

Come here

For hours I’ll hold

to my bosom fold

my dear.

Dear friend

Call me anytime

just dial and you’ll find

love sent.
