Dear Death,
O thine time is far,
When life is conquered and we shall meet here,
O thine time is far,
When it stands still to hear the tears,
O thine time is near,
Thine is but a subtle ghost on which I call adversary,
O thine time is near,
Thine lives and laughs at my expense as I tarry.
O thine time is nye,
Thine came and claimed the one to take to Hades,
O thine time is nye,
Thine claimed the one that is king of all the Euphrates.
O thine time is but done,
Cast thine lot against the lamb at a cost.
O thine time is but done,
Fought and fought but alas lost,
For in thine end the lamb rose again,
Cast in with Hades, the lake burns as they die,
For in thine end the lamb rose again,
Triumphantly asking where Doust thine sting lie.
Sincerely,
The Traveler
