Dead Me I Met

A Stanza Can Kill

Still from A Short I Shot.

Dead me I met upon the river there.

Mourned not for he was not the man I am.

Like Shanks the words whos aim was not to spare.

Blood mixed with current toward the river dam.

A day begun that brought me to a sow

Who’s un-treed cub lead my gaze to a fate.

Go back was warned to she who broke her vow.

Unclaimed harbors to now fill up with hate.

Little did I know that the hike would mean

The we we were was never more to be.

Our slates we held were soon to be made clean.

Nine years to earn sharp truths which cut us free.

I thank thee for the up pulled knife you gave.

That sank dead me into that wat’ry grave.

I enjoy stories and telling them.

I’m the rich father before I am the poor artist.

Working on a novel. Why is it so hard?! ;)
