Dead Love

pain of the heart

In the depths of a heart's lament,

Where love once bloomed, now lifeless, spent,

I weave a tale of love's demise,

A requiem for love's weary eyes.

A love that danced with passion's flame,

Now echoes empty, void of name,

Its vibrant hues have turned to gray,

A melody that's lost its way.

Once adorned with tender caress,

Now silenced, whispers left to guess,

The promises that filled the air,

Now mere echoes, fading, threadbare.

Like flowers once vibrant, now decayed,

Love's sweetest kiss now bitter, frayed,

The tendrils of affection, now undone,

A tale of love, its final run.

But in the wake of love's demise,

A seed of hope may start to rise,

For from the ashes, new love may spring,

A chance for hearts to again take wing.

So let us mourn the love that's died,

But keep our hearts open, eyes wide,

For in the tapestry of love's grand art,

New beginnings can heal a broken heart.

For even in love's final breath,

There's beauty in the dance of death,

And as we bid dead love adieu,

New love may blossom, vibrant and true.
