Dazzling Disaster

Reflective Reveries

By Darienne WilliamsPublished 5 years ago • 1 min read

A thunderous roar of a heartbeat breeds such a stir within;

increasingly turbulent temperaments rendering me helpless, left only to waiver in the wind.

You were built for a storm. Your blood shifts with the tide.

But never had I known the tempest from the inside.

The streets flooded with emotion; scattering doubt riddled debris,

but no one dared take their eyes off the dazzling catastrophe.

Reflective rain playing it's tricks. Reality dwelling far beneath the surface.

I am but a disastrous creature plentiful in purpose.
