DAVID BOWIE & The White Whale

5pm 10/22/2026

David Bowie wants to swim

Like dolphins can swim

I want to sing

Like Bowie can sing

But nothing

Can make that thing happen

So then

I want to swim the ocean's deep

Like whales

In their darkest keep

To cut through water

Like birds through air

I'll haunt the deeps

in this I dare..

To be a god swimming miles upon miles

Needing little save air

And when I surface

I leave a wake

of wondrous stares

And I will sing

Like only whales can sing

Call my brethren

from near to there

Whalesong

Low..

Loud..

clear..

and proud.

We will cavort,

in tandem consort

And you will be my Queen
