I have a date with the devil.
In my pain, he can revel.
My life can't be glorious
so I'll never be victorious.

I have a date with the devil,
as he knows my head is not level.
He wants me to hide
and be only dead inside.

I have a date with the devil.
Towards me, he is very bedevil.
He told me, "It better be understood
that to me you must be good."

The last 17 hours have been a disaster, so I decided to express it in words to be able to cope with it, kind of.
