Trouble Doesn't last always

Believe it or not everyone faces trouble

The young, old, black, white, rich, and poor

It comes in swiftly like a summer thunderstorm

Taking over for many hours and many days

Leaving months and sometimes years of devastation

At times it seems like it will never end

The days become shorter, but the night becomes longer

People leave one after another and another

At some point, there is nothing but you and your thoughts

The mind races back and forth between hope and despair

But listen and hear that soft-still voice that will appear

Be strong. It says I am here, and I will never leave my dear

What comfort it is to know there is help wherever you go

Someone who will bear the load that you hold

Now the situation seems smaller and smaller

Hey, it is always darkest before dawn

Recognize the power that resides all around

Just remember trouble do not last always

All of a sudden, the darkness will disappear

And then yes, the light will appear

Thanks for reading,
