The night time

In the dark of night, a nightmare born

A twisted tale of evil sworn

A demon's laugh, a banshee's cry

A haunting vision, black as the sky

The monsters lurk, within my mind

Their claws and teeth, sharp and unkind

They chase me through the shadows deep

A never-ending cycle, I cannot sleep

I try to flee, but they are fast

A terror grips me, it will not pass

I scream for help, but no one hears

Trapped in this hell, my worst fears

The evil nightmare, it holds me tight

A grip of fear, a paralyzing might

But I will fight, I will not yield

For in the morning, this nightmare will be sealed.
