Dark

poem

In shadows deep, where laughter dies,

A twisted verse, where darkness lies.

I`ll weave a poem, dripping with disdain,

Where sarcasm dances, with a venomous strain.

Come, gather round, you fools of light,

let me regale you with a venomous plight.

In this dark verse, where cynicism thrives,

I'll mock your dreams, with cruel jives

Behold the lovers, so tender and sweet,

Their hearts entwined, their passion complete,

but mark my words, their love's demise,

will leave them broken, with tear-stained eyes.

And here, the dreamers, with lofty ideas,

Their visions are grand, their souls concealed.

But watch them stumble, in their navie pride,

As reality crushes, with a merciless stride
