Dangling Wishes And Fleeting Memories
Lost In October
Just cross' the meadow through a weathered, wooden gate and mere steps cross' a red roofed, covered bridge
Is a path made of cobblestone that leads to her secret garden, an orchard where fall dreams are made
October apples dangle from the trees, just low enough for you to reach them. All that’s needed to unlock these magical wishes is to simply reach up and pick them.
Just one little nibble and the magic begins…colored glitter gathers where skin meets the stem 🍎
Opening a passageway of shear delight and the desire to come right on in
Inside you’ll find festive - fall like music rising, gently swarming, ore’ the crowd, on the breeze
Calling your senses, welcoming you like an old friend, like a honeycomb luring the bees 🐝
Her trees are all dressed in the finest fall colors inspiring the rainbow itself, drifting down to the melody taught by the angels, mother nature, out doing herself
One time a year it is featured, as fine as anything in the MET. October creeps in as a novice, leaving views you will never forget
October, the Van Gogh of the senses, such an array, nothing else can compare. The rose colored view of her lenses, is a place every sense can savour
The dangling wishes of October, hurry in and please come back for more, all too soon her majesty is over and every last leaf lines the floor
Bundle up and enjoy clear crisp mornings, the evenings under the full harvest moon. So good that you can almost taste it, and gobble it up with a spoon
Thirty one days fly by fast like the witches, on their brooms to delight and dismay. All the kiddies dressed up in new britches, disguised to get treats without delay. You never know just who will be waiting, under those masks of the strangers you meet. Happily making their rounds about town, making their debut on the street
Then it's home to gobble up all the goodies as we watch the moon smile in the sky. The season too quickly is over, but a spark for next year lingers in our eyes
