A lady of grace did rejoice

When she danced in the rain without poise

Her hair was all wet

But her face was set

To savor the moment with no noise.

The pitter-patter of rain created

A rhythm that moved her enchanted

She twirled round and round

Without making a sound

A smile spread across her face, elated.

As the droplets of water cascaded

Her spirit rose higher, unabated

No care in the world

Her heart did unfurl

A perfect moment, she commemorated.

The beauty of nature and life was displayed

As her feet moved in a joyous parade

Dancing in the rain, so free

She'd never felt so alive, you see!

In this limerick of happy serenade.
