I couldn’t think of a title for this piece

So now it’s, “Damning,”

Because what else can I call my life

After being beaten to my bare bones, cracked, broken, decimated

And you are told you’re blessed

But inside everything is rotten

You spill all your secrets like a spaghetti strainer with the holes being too wide

The noodles are your organs; they are overcooked

But here everyone around you is smiling

While you are already dead

They are smiling at your corpse

Something has damned me

Every chapter in my life is damning

You beat me, you tried to get me to destroy every inch of who I was

Because you were also damned, dead and decimated inside

I refused to destroy myself that deeply

And that killed you over and over

Now you don’t have that control over me

But you can dig into my brain at times,

Damning me if I feel sick

I’m not allowed to feel pain

Only you are

I gave you another chance

You keep showing me your damning insides

Spilling out like all my secrets everyone can see

Damning reflections

Damning us all
