Dad

I am only 3 things in life

But at this very moment I am only 1 of them: Dad

I never had my father when I was growing up

But you can bet any amount of money in the world that I will always be here for my kids.

Even now I can't understand why he left,

But it only makes me try harder to stick around.

Being a Dad of a son & 2 daughters is a whole difference blessing that I cherish every day of my life.

I simply wouldn't be the man I am today without them.

So tuck them all in tight every night, kiss their foreheads,

& assure them that I will be here when they wake up in the morning.

It may not seem like much, but It's something I love to do when I am "Dad"
