It's easy to overlook. Capitalism's economics - Supply & Demand - would have you believe: Because everyone has it, it's value-less.
Slippery. Sneaky. False.
The Great Lie: Everything you want is out there... all of it, 'just waiting for you.'
Ridiculous. Do you not see? They tell you this so you will keep buying. Your happiness? Unprofitable. You're more valuable to them blue.
A child comes into this world with no possessions. Yet embodies greater joy than the adults of the world, combined.
Can you hear this message? Or have you already 'tuned' away? Did this missive need more flashing lights? Less truth for your overwhelmed mind?
The Great Truth: Everything you want is within... all of it, just waiting for You.
If you will re-learn to be comfortable with yourself, sit in silence. Be alone! Renew.
Or, you could continue. You'll hit the wall one day. A nervous breakdown. A mid-life crisis... It's not a matter of 'if', but when.
'Now' will always be the name of the moment, when you decide to re-claim your attention. Would you prefer it be now? Or then.

Almost comedically enough, I was distracted by somebody while reading this. Nevertheless, I really like this, there was a moment I hit that point a couple years ago and I was forced to make some changes. This poem is incredibly insightful and I enjoyed your voice in it.
