Cupcakes, Cakes, and Pie
A burger today, on Tuesday I will pay,
steak or fillet, well done I say, a potato on the side, smothered with butter I cried,
add a side of beans, dare not forget our greens, quite a meal, how great we feel, as we indulge with pleasure, still knowing,
what awaits is the treasure!
Oh the cupcakes, with icing galore, think I shall have two or more, and the cake we did bake, with a flavor of chocolate milkshake, a piece I'll take,
what has caught the eye, yes, the whipped creme pie, oh my, a piece or two I think shall do,
I’m now tossing in the bed,
with a sugar high, wide open eyes,
compliments of the cupcakes, the cakes, and the pies.
