from the molecular origins
hydrogen and oxygen
grow crystal filaments
stunning lines of
prismatic ice
reaching
feathering
as if to alight
Winter paints
every surface with a
glistening fine hair brush
from a multitude of droplets
form a vast frozen mesh
every color etherializes
springing from translucent strands
light scatters in radiant beams
a rainbow of sparks
catch eyes as they gleam and shine
iridescence realized
as branches and networks
depose and intersect
wild and free
each segment jaunts
icy blooms flourishing
glazing every inch with
a thin sheet of
floral etched glass
