Cryptococcal Meningitis

Disease

By Colt HendersonPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

What is happening? Now I am really confused. What can I do now? I failed to notice you slipping, Not knowing you were falling. I would have helped but I was tripping, And now I am crawling. You raised me to be strong, And you tried to teach me compassion. Now I feel wrong, And empty of all passion. I hate to see you this way, And wish I could change it, But this is how you will stay And all I can do is accept it. You were my rock, But that has changed. All we do now is watch the clock, And that feels strange. I miss my mother. Do you miss your son? You are better than every other, And our journey isn't done. I still love my mom And I will until I die I hate this disease
