Crooked Stair

Step through

Dream little one, find the magic and go.

Into the world, remember not to tell it though.

Step back and watch a little, you don't want to get too far ahead.

Time is slipping away, you haven't yet done what you said.

React fast, stabilize yourself before you're delusional.

And be sure not to stand out or see your potential.

Can't have you thinking you're a someone.

Though you must be better than a no one.

Internal desires may creep up and attempt to breakthrough, but resist.

Or else, you might fail, you will fall, and trust me, you won't be missed.

Numb the feelings we hide, too brainwashed to see, we're already inside.
