The darkest parts revealed to all,

Veiled by the twinkle of stars.

Glancing blows were at hand.

With no handshake, no crescendo,

The mend of it all was never really there.

Because let’s be honest,

There is more in the scatter and bare bones,

Then we’re ever going to repair.
