Tonight is the night.

To polish the pumpkin bright,

Carve away and create.

The magical pumpkin face that looks great,

Trick-or-treaters will appreciate,

For years, children have gone door to door,

From taffy, candy apple, fudge and more.

Pumpkins of orange, pink, white and blue,

Even some are decorated with glue.

Mine is being carved as a cat,

I have to go shopping to find a hat.

I hope you are safe and enjoy the eve.

Hoping you have tricks up your sleeve.

Happy Halloween
