Crazy Dream

don't dream it

Crazy Dream 🤪

On a BEACH, where I find PEACE.

Sun shining BRIGHTLY, wind moving SLIGHTLY.

Laid back, reLAXED, tranquility at it’s MAX!

Silence couldn’t be LOUDER, until I had an enCOUNTER:

Towering tidal waves of PANIC, breached the shore’s SAND WITH

screams and EEKS! For help a seal SEEKS

but it’s fate is SEALED, destined to be a MEAL.

It’s final day is DARK. Oh how irony’s played it’s PART.

It gallops my WAY, because it knows it’s PREY.

It’s become a shark’s TARGET: A mission finished once STARTED.

He approached the water’s EDGE, but the earth has him HEDGED.

He stands up on hind FINS, and now the sun is ecLIPSED.

He looks at the PINNIPED, then at me, a HINT UNSAID.

I don’t need a thousand CLUES, with only one I know my CUE.

I stand up and then I PUNT, that flabby little RUNT

like a football with WHISKERS, into his jaws, tasty DINNER.
