A crazy cat, yes that's my pet,

Being a psycho and hating the vet.

Catching mice and other small things,

Dragging them in, this is what my cat brings.

Every day he sits, lazing around,

Feigning ignorance at every sound,

Getting treats from his favorite masters,

Hiding after he causes disasters.

In the afternoon, he might come for some fuss,

Just to claw me like a crazy puss.

Killing and maiming, and yet we find cats sweet,

Like they pretend to be cute but they're full of deceit,

Manipulating us so we obey their will,

Not caring that they've already had their fill.

Often we forget they're predators covered in fur,

Predators that are cute and have a wonderful purr!

Queer little things, some would say,

Running households day after day.

Some once saw cats as Gods!

Though it's their egos that seem to be at odds.

Understanding cats is a fun little thing,

Vibrating little animals that purr and sing.

Wiggling bums and wagging tails,

Xraying prey, it never fails.

Your best house guest and fluffy friend,

Zooming around and annoying you no end!
