“I’m locked in, they won’t let me out..”
That is the current norm of our never-ending situation,
COVID struck,
Like an earthquake.
Families are left distraught,
While some have come together in support,
Putting differences aside,
Only to unite,
Others are left feeling lonely,
While some are feeling holy,
Having never seen such peace before.
Life has become a yo-yo,
One we’ve gotten used of.
And now comes the aftershocks,
Millions of lives are becoming unstable,
People are crying out for stability,
Oh, Dear Lord, when will this all end.
