Darkness enveloping darkness

eyes soaring scouring sinking

searching redemption

No

none

no light

not outside not within

no silence

nothing

but a hundred white dots

taunting trembling treacherous dots

engulfing entrapping entangling

(Exfoliating?

Extravagance!)

Extraordinary dots

peeling the dry corneas of my soul

reaching inside getting ready to gut the grieving thoughts

blink

No tears

just a thousand white dots

multiplying like meercats, suricats, or just angry cats

with their claws and their cackling screeches

deft ears picking up on screams long gone

your voice

echoing in this nauseating nothingness

A million white dots

mullying over whether I deserve a second chance

Mullying?

Mull-y-ing

Mulling?

M U L L I N G O V E R

What's "deserve" ?

What's "second"?

Why?

their words their worlds their choice

for they have filled and taken every piece of me that smelled like you

there’s nothing left behind my eyes but darkness

living breathing darkness

made of dots
