conversation with invisibility

the invisible creature living within me I know you're always there with me, unseen and unbeatable. I know you are my only friend, One who will never leave me. You will depart eventually, but only after putting me into a deep, peaceful sleep. You mock my existence, You hold all of my secrets, You know things about me that I can't even comprehend. You're the only mystery I can never solve, Maybe you find me amusing. When I'm asleep, you watch over me. You send me into a deep slumber and take me on an unseen journey, Even on dark paths and scary nights, you're by my side. Are you the one who talks to me, or do you only listen to my words? I know only you know that "I am not who I am. In the end, it all comes down to one question— Do you want to be free from this prison? Is that the case?

Or is it still just my question? I know nothing about you, yet I've written so much about you. Only you know this, only you.
