Constellations

I stare up at the night sky,with stars stretching

Over its canvas,and constellations making the

Sky look more alive.I look over at Aquila,

Then look upon the wonderful Cygnus.

Constellations its odd shapes and names,like

Vulpecula and Volna.No one ever seems to

Wonder about them,they just look up and see

Brilliant beauty,across the sky.I look upon the

Sky’s canvas and its brillance constellations

Dotting the sky,like paints on a portrait.Making

the portrait more colorful and beautiful than

Before.Paints completing the portrait like Lyra

And Hercules,Scorpius and Ophiuchus

Streaking the portrait with dark colors.Making

This portrait priceless,and the stars like Algol

And Deneb marking the portrait with light

Pastels. Without one of them,the portrait

Would be unfinished.Without Scorpius and

Ophiuchus the dark streaks would be gone,

Without Algol and Deneb the portrait would be

Missing its pastels.I got up as the sun began to

Rise,and looked up one more time to see the

Sky’s portrait,and its paints. And its wonderful

Constellations that complete the painting.
