Confusion

Human.

By Bailey ThorntonPublished 6 years ago 1 min read
Tipping is greatly appreciated ♥️

I hear whispers

Every time I close my eyes

No, I’m not crazy

I just have some angels in the sky

My demons try to win,

The never ending taunting..

I never let them in,

They just keep on haunting.

I told a couple lies

To the ones who mean the most

Never saw to the degree,

The confusion in their eyes.

“I just want to be alone.”

Is all I can ever say

The stories make me ache,

In every single bone.

I want to be me

I want to be true

But here lately it seems,

“Me” is too good to be true.
