The sudden loss of communication

The sudden excuses of not wanting to hang out

The sudden disappearance

The sudden loss of interest

The sudden loss of letting the connection go

Not a word to be told

Just the actions show

That you have pulled away

You make it hard to be nice, after Two months of no contact

Then saying you miss me and want to reconnect after I had to ask you a question about something

At first I thought okay

Things seem to be going well again but the last two days it feels like a disconnect

Suppose to meet tomorrow for a early lunch but, you haven’t confirmed

So I’m not sure I will be showing up

The distance is still there

After I reached, out to you months ago

After i gave you space to work on personal stuff

And all I got was like emojis

So I thought it was over and sent a few mean texted because I was hurt and embarrassed that I let you in

You say you want to reconnect but you don’t want to talk about the elephant in the room

So how can we move on from this if you don’t want to talk

I know I screwed up but so did you.

You said, let’s start over but I feel you are just playing me like before

I’m not a pawn in your chess match that you can move and manipulate

I’m a human being, not a game, so please stop, and tell me what you really want, instead of making me second guess, myself, like before and wondering what I did wrong.

And what made you pull away in the first place

heartbreak
