Conditions of a Frail Frame

Stranded Without Gods V.1

By Patrick SantiagoPublished about a year ago 1 min read

It is frail to believe you’re strong, it is strength that reveals your weakness

The very scars on your skin represent a failure on behalf of malice, a severed connection between a trigger and a ‘maybe’…

It is frailty that keeps you from a cold plunge, it is strength that gets you through the chill

The paradox lies in the planning of a thing, a moment, a step; that approximate calculate ‘possibly’ that garners nothing short of ‘could be’…

It is frailty that keeps you unyielding, and in the safety of ‘this is it’

It is strength that outweighs its comfort for ‘that’s a chance’

It is frailty that moves the hands on the face of a clock; the predictable circumcision of unpredictable good fortune…

Strength is abstract, it knows no rigidity, it doesn’t count the seconds until your next satiated condition – it merely exist to those willing to forgive temperance, but not live by its means…
