Dark clouds hoover,
In between walls ghosts roam.
Street meets street as I walk to and fro,
Tall buildings blocking the sun.
Rain falls and it gets darker,
And this is the existence I find my self in.
Cabs honk as they pass,
Trailing them leaves as dead as I am inside.
In my garden is where I feel alive,
Oh from all the concrete around me.
Now for sure I know I was meant for soil, sprawling land, and blooming flowers. And that's why I am moving away!

This is beautiful.
Oh I've always dreamed of moving away from the hustle and bustle of the city to live in a cottage in the woods, far away from humans and civilization. I loved your poem!
Ahhh yes, and the ending is just right! 😁
