It’s hard to imagine, what life is for.
We want so much, and yet feel so sore
When we are left abandoned on the lonely shore
Maybe this is life. There can’t be more.
For, if I am to understand
What duties I hold with my hand
The quakes and waves that shake this land
Are way too far out to reprimand.
What is it like to see beyond these complexities
The sun shines bright, giving life to the leaves.
The morning dew stays in its place
Reminding us all that we can’t be replaced.
