Color is complementary in me

It is seeing lucid dreaming on trees

Color is running fast but electric to the touch

With exuberant contrast, I still don't feel like much

Sometimes I'd dream about glossing it over

To see how it glistens in the sun, my paint brush rolls over

-----

The way the colors intertwine

They can be opposites and still divine

I am seen attached to brick slabs and concrete

I wonder if complementary colors will ever fully meet

-----

Warm and cool tones are stronger side by side

My mind is vivid blue, but my body doesn't comply

The skin of my hands is dyed orange from the fields

When blue and orange combine, they just create a grayscale

------

If I am a color wheel

Then my personality is mixed

I am every color at once, but only two show themselves as fixed

When I think of new ideas, my smile is yellow

But when I try to be fluid, my purple eyes feel shallow
