They say that sense is often common

I believe that it's long forgotten

Unspoken rules to live by

We can understand if we try

Like what goes up must come down

A smile always follows a frown

Where it is dark; there must be light

Good and evil always fight

Where there is give; there is take

A golden rule this will make

If you push, the pull will follow

If something is full it can be hollow

To be happy you must feel pain

Where there is sunshine there will be rain

Simple things that come and go
