Stay vigilant

Comfort is a lie

I would like to be comfortable,

To get through life without much struggle,

I would like to think that my entire life has not been a lie,

But I can't. I can't rest until the day I die.

.

I have to be vigilant,

I have to watch my every move,

I have to watch others too,

I have to stay alert and awake,

I have to do more and more, I have to improve.

.

I can't go back to the way things were,

I have no regrets about that, none at all,

But I just wish that some power in the universe

Will make it seem like being comfortable

Is Not A Sin.
